1. A Bluetooth Mouse without USB receiver
I find a mouse more efficient to use than a touchpad on the laptop. I recommend a Bluetooth mouse that can connect to the laptop without USB receiver. No USB receiver means freeing one USB port in your laptop. Also, it can be connected to not only laptops, but also tablets and smart phones via Bluetooth. As an example, there is Logitech Pebble Mouse 2 (M350s). In addition to the Bluetooth connection capability, this mouse has an easy-switch to 3 devices. Also, its clicking sound is very quite, which matters if you blog in a library. It is important to confirm before you buy the product that it is Bluetooth-based and does not come with USB receiver.
2. A Bluetooth Keyboard without USB receiver
Why do we need an extra keyboard if the laptop has the built-in keyboard? You’d better have one if you are using laptop stand. Additionally, you can connect the Bluetooth keyboard to your tablet or smartphone. As an example, there is Logitech K480 Wireless Keyboard with an easy-switch dial for 3 devices. It comes with a built-in tablet or mobile phone stand. If your tablet is large (e.g., 12.9″), you should ensure the built-in stand is wide enough for your tablet. You may want to check the size, softness and noise level of the keys on the keyboard before you buy it.
3. A Laptop Stand
A laptop stand raises the laptop screen so that the near top part of the screen is in the level of your eyes. It is more space-efficient if the laptop stand has a space for an extra keyboard or other stuff under it. You may prefer a more portable one even if there is no space under it. Such a laptop stand may be cheaper than ones with a space under it.
4. An Oversized Mouse Pad
These days, the oversized mouse pad is popular because it can provide cushion and comfort in a large space on the desk. The size of the oversized mouse pad may depend on the size of your desk. You may choose the right size according to the desk of the blogger.
